DEAR KAYDEN OVERHAUL

Alright sweet boy. Time for an overhaul. You're now a crazy hyper loving energetic never slows down two year old. My how the time has flown. Little by little I no longer have time to sit and write letters to you here. Lets share with the readers what this blog will now blossom into as you blossom into such an eager to learn little boy :)

OK readers. Here it goes. its just too much to keep up the letters as a constant. once in a while I will still post a letter to my Cupie doll staying true to the name of this blog. However... its time to revamp this blog and have it grow as Kayden does. Kayden is OBSESSED with art projects, DIY things and science experiments right now. So that just seems like the most logical thing to be posting these days. Our mornings and afternoons are so filled with crafty projects as of late, not a day goes by with a clean kitchen as this is where our "DOING STATION" (we'll pick a better name later) is. We will try to focus on the most simple and frugal proects and maybe throw in a few more advanced ones as they come along. I'm not going to simply post a recipe instructions and pictures though. I'm going to be dead honest with every project review. So as you can suspect, EVERY SINGLE project I write about on here will be one we have done! Alright alright. Enough boring you with words! I'm gonna make a few more posts today but before I go now I want to give you a very sketched outline of what you can expect to see! Not every day will be designated for a specific "type" of project. But a few will.

Mommy Mondays-

All of us Moms see those pins on pinterest for DIY face scrub and DIY pamper yourself ideas and cringe at the lack of time we truly have for ourselves. We read the instructions, try to scan through our budget in our heads seeing if we can manage to pick up a few essential oils and sugars these pins call for when we're on our next grocery run. Undoubtedly though; once we get to the store with the crying baby who hates car rides, the toddler missing his left shoe because he chucked it out the window on the way and the ever-so-moody eight year old who's just too sassy to enjoy grocery shopping with mom anymore; we forget the dang oils and sugars in place of sugary snacks and a glimpse of sanity seen back in the car when everyone is buckled in and somewhat quiet. (yeah right on the quiet part) So moms. Mondays will be for us. I will be trying my hardest to keep the projects as frugal and easy as possible. As well as keeping the "you will need" lists short I will try to post the longest enjoyable things.

Science Sundays-

Well... we love science projects here in the Creamer household. We enjoy seeing how things work whether its taking apart his rocking horse or smacking "oobleck" to see it stiffen up. So those fun things will be for Sundays. Not too much to explain here.

So there we have it. There's going to be major changes in the layout soon as well. So just stick with me. :)
